The other reason why our school is so cool, is because we've got lots of CCA (not really CCA, but some sort of club) to choose from.

and we can get really close to the seniors in our club! ;)

It's compulsory to participate in only one official club, but there are loads of unofficial clubs you can choose from too :)

you guys should have seen the auditions :) they were awesome!

well because there is bound to be popular clubs and.... erm....... others, the competition can be really high in some.

the seniors give marks according to our performance during the interview.

which includes answering to difficult questions such as "How would you get people to donate money if you were in charge of an international organization like UNICEF?" and showing special things that you can do.

this "showing special things that you can do" thing is common in Korea, and most kids (like me) who can't bear to do anything 'special' like drinking vinegar, blowing the recorder using your nose usually just sing or dance.

I shook the tambourine as I sang an oldie song - the kind that my grandparents would like ;DDDDD

it doesn't have to be funny, but doing something comical does get you more points than just singing well.

(my really cute friend swung a pole around furiously like those wushu people does AND SHE PASSED ;) she said she learnt it from somewhere haha)

I'm in UNESCO and it might sound like a TOTALLY-GEEKY club, but it isn't!!!!! at all.

and like ALL clubs do in our club, we have something called manito ;)

the way it works is simple.

everyone in the club gets to pick someone else (randomly, of course) and has to be nice to that person for the required period of time BEING ANONYMOUS.

it's a senior-junior thing, so that when we reveal our identity after a week or two we can get to know each other more (:

so I myself has to be nice to someone and another person has to be nice to me too!

"being nice" usually means sending lots and lots of stuff to eat to that person, because our school lunch and dinner both suck like hell.

and the fun thing of it is that you must be careful not to let that person know who you are, so you have to ask friends to help give the presents ;)))

some even receive missions that they have to accomplish in order to get their presents AND THEY ARE HILARIOUS.

my friend had to tie his front hair up and take a photo of himself ;DDDD

and my other friend had to solve a code.

mine isn't anything like that, so I'm really grateful ;)

my manito sent me biscuits 5 times during the day!!!! I've got the title "Most-frequent manito receiver" ;)

he spent like $15 JUST ON A DAY and we've got like a whole week left?!

it's been like, a year since I last changed it.

I can't believe Secret Garden ended!!!!!!!!!!!
I always say that, but it was the best drama I've ever watched.
I'm so happy that it got a happy ending, because it would have the worst drama if anyone died or something like that.
(exactly like IRIS -_- I will never, ever forgive the writer for that.)
Secret Garden was..... well, funny and exactly like a fairytale.
so, I don't recommend it to realists. they'll totally freak out while watching it.

i'm in for the best (JUST maybe second best) junior high in korea,

DAEWON FORIEGN LANGUAGE HIGH SCHOOL

and i can't believe it.

i thought my totally messed up my interview because i spoke as fast as Eminem doing a freestyle rap; HAHA.

anyway, my major is english, although i considered chinese too.

well, i lost interest in chinese after i heard that they start from HANYUPINYIN AGAIN.

but nevermind!

i'm learning spanish too!!! :DDDDD

and i absolutely love the school uniform and the seniors that i have currently met in the school website.

i really can't believe i passed.

hi guys.
for those of you who have visited my blog during the lock-up session, i've opened it up again. :D
i just thought it was terrible to leave my blog dead for 3+months. (i'd rather let nobody see it.)
but this doesn't mean i'm not busy.
it's just one more month to end-of-year exams(UGH) then we're TOTALLY FREE! - free as in, you don't have to go to school at all if you want to ;D
till then, you'll just have to be satisfied with two or three posts each week.

sorry i haven't been posting for such a long time.

too many things have happened and i never got a chance to post about them.

well first thing, we've moved to a new place.

not far away enough to transfer my school, but still :)

i like the house interior, haha.

esp the bathroom.... jeez, i still haven't get used to this place being our new home yet.

we're on the first floor which exposes us to all sorts of pollution, including noise pollution.

(and i still don't dare think about all those mosquitoes! ugh. it's becoming summer soon.)

my tables's still a mess-.- i have absolutely no idea how i'm going to put everything in its rightful place.

my new desk doesn't have drawers and that sucks.

anyway, the moving benefited me by finding all my lost belongings.

i found my old chinese dictionary :) the one that i used for my PSLE chinese composition.

and also my set of uniball pens that i previously thought stolen.

etc.

well, i'd better end this post now, before my icecream drips onto this notebook which creates a reason for me to get killed S: just kidding haha.

love eating icecream during winter. it adds to the numbness :) lol.

today was great, just like those previous few days(:
the wedding (my mother's cousin) was @11, but my sister&i were so excited that we had the alarm set at 8.
but the funnier thing is, i actually HEARD the alarm and woke up. S:
anyway.
the ceremony was just like any old wedding, so i only watched a bit of it and went off to the buffet to eat w/ my father.
we were among the first few people to go so i didn't even have to queue up :-)
the cream soup was my favourite.
one unfortunate thing was that the tables were round, not rectangular, so our big family couldn't eat together in one table.
(i had absolutely no appetite watching this guy "SLURPING" up his sphagetti. ugh.)
sphagetti sucked, cream puffs and beef rocked.
while the adults chatted with grandaunt, my cousins and i toured ourselves around the big wedding hall.
so many others were preparing for THEIR own wedding in other rooms.
(the making-snide-comments-about-how-the-bride-and-groom-looks-like part was great :D my younger cousins absolutely loved it, but they made it too obvious that i felt the need to move away. S:)

after the wedding (which ended at 2), my aunt's and uncle's family and ours went to grandma's house.
i mostly watched TV with the adults, but the kids had a fun time running about upstairs.
anw.
time REALLY flies when you're watching TV because it was 8pm so quickly.
we ate dinner and went not back to home, but to pick up my new glasses :D
yay.
(i went to buy new spects yesterday :) didn't have a chance to post abt it.)
it's really nice, brown and big and all that.
but they say my eyesight is awful S: shld take good care of it if i'm going to have lasik operation when i graduate high school.
i'll take a photo when i have time :D i'm watching a movie w/ heejung tomorrow @11.

anyway, after the movie we had McDonalds! BigMac always manages to makes my day.

i'm playing halo2 later with my bro, because i ACCIDENTALLY forgot to save the level that we finished :X ugh.
we're watching Halo2: Legendary Walkthrough vids on Youtube :D that's called "making up to my bro for being nasty sometimes".

CNY is already over S:
it felt like a long, neverending, boring but full (as in, full stomach) sunday.
but i'm considerably richer :) yay.
i'm just 10000won short of my goal, but nevermind.

met all my whole family yesterday; i realised once again that i have ALOT cousins.
(my father has four siblings, so that must explain why.)
my biggest cousin (the eldest sister) is on a whole-country trip w/ her friends.
SO COOL! :D i'm going to do that someday.
after visiting my father's side of the family, we went to see our grandma, our aunt, and uncle.
too bad my mom has only two siblings):
haha lol.
but i'm more comfortable with my mother's side cousins, because they're all mostly younger than me.
it's fun playing with them :D they're so cute.
and we always manage to think up something fun to play at grandma's house.
all of us slept over last night, and we spent the whole night watching dramas on TV :)
everyone (L)s dramas.

this saturday is my mother's cousin's wedding, and the WHOLE family is going :D
i love weddings. (esp the eating part)
i'll get to see them again soon.

today, february the tenth, 0930 onwards i'm officially sec3! :D
i know you guys have alr started sec3 school life since january and i'm hopelessly outdated, but w/e.
helped out with the graduation ceremony today(: (giving out pamphlets, haha)
the monitors were supposed to do it, but some dumbass jerks didn't come.
i mean, i shld have become a dumbass jerk myself too.
there was nothing much to do.
we ate chocolates and capri suns :) that was just to keep us from escaping.
ANYWAY.
as i love my seniors, i stayed :D & i think that was the right choice, because the graduation ceremony was so cool.
well, not exactly cool. i'd say touching.
can't wait for my own graduation to come next year! :DDDDD and i'll be expecting better than this year's, because this kind of stuff shld improve year by year.
this time, each and everyone of the teachers recorded a video message. aw. that was really touching :)
and funny.
the sad songs were making it even saddening. (i watched with hyoju and heejin :D they're class8 and 5 monitors.)

we went home fantasizing about graduating early :D

i just came back from a birthday-present outing w/ heejung :D
haemin's birthday is just this friday.
AND IT'S THE END OF SCHOOL THIS WEDNESDAY!
oh, i can't wait.
i'm finally sec3 and we like, always get to eat first in the cafeteria. :D haha.
anyway.
we had lunch first (noodles!) and then went to buy haemin a long t-shirt.
it's nice :D i'm having a temptation to steal it back. :B
the strange thing is, we took 40minutes to eat but only 2minutes to choose the present.
and we went dutch, so we paid 3000won each! (which is half of what we ate off. harhar)
met our next-door class girls standing at the street chatting while we were on the way home, so we joined them.
laughed so much :D other people must have thought we were mad.

hi guys :) i'm posting again, as usual.

today is my dad's birthday and we had (and we're still having) a blast :D my cousins are here too.

although it wasn't my day, i got to eat my favourite fruit-with-extra-cream-cake. ;)

anyway at 2 i went to buy presents w/ my Bro&Sis.

we went to three different places for the ideal gift :D aren't we dedicated.

&we spent quite a lot too, especially me.

(i'm broke.)

but the thing is, when we went to the stationery shop i found this really, REALLY cute rilakkuma notebook that made me think of winky ;D

so i bought it, before i could spend the money on anything else.

& there was a rilakkuma tin pencilcase too!

(now i know what to buy winky for her next parcel i'm preparing :))

well to tell you the truth i didn't ski. (i'm too chicken to ride the lift up all the way-,-)
so we just had fun riding snowsleds.
i liked the snow sled lift :D it was slower and shorter.
although we bundled ourselves up with clothes it was still really cold.
i thought my toes were going to drop off :X my boots were too thin to be of any help.)
it was fun all the same. :)

my brother and i raced, and i always won :D he didn't know enough science. HAHAH

just came back from my school TEPS lesson :D

and guess what, we had a cake party.

because there was a birthday today(: a really funny senior. (thanks to him, i guess)

we got to eat three different types of cake! imagine that. (i'd rather not think about the dollar amts involved, because... i think we spent about $140. -,- well it's cake for fifteen people anyway. it's SUPPOSED to cost that much.)

our TEPS teacher paid the whole amount! :B well actually she gave me her credit card to use.

(just think about the stuff that i could have done ;D haha lol.)

i went with this really cute junior. hahha. he's not cute in the hot sense. just cute like a baby :D

he spent about 2 years in philippines. in southeast asia like me!

it's some sort of a similarity, i guess.

after eating, we had an absolutely great time cleaning up, because our teacher had already gone.
so, we took care of the leftover (quite alot-,-) cake by giving it to the other teachers in the staff room :D but i think it wasn't really hygenic, because we pushed in here and there to make it look more... presentable.
nevermind.
and there was so much grease on the teacher's desk that we couldn't get rid of it by using tissue.-,-
we had to use some PE pants lying around(ugh. i wonder whose it was) to mop it up! haha lol. i don't know why, but it was so funny. then we flipped it inside out and used it again.

i can't wait to find out to whom the PE pants belong to! he'll sure have a hard time wearing it again. :D (serves him right for leaving his things lying around. -,-)

today was the best day evvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvver!
it snowed quite much yesterday.
some roads were frozen, so it was really hard getting to school. very slippery.
but we had snowfights during PE :D
and guess what, we played the improved version.
no more having to wet your gloves and making hard snowballs! :)
all of us used dustpans to scoop snow and shove it in someone's (anyone's) face.
because during recess time almost the whole school was out having snowfights, there were PLENTY of dustpans lying around.
(the cleaner auntie was mad at us, but it wasn't us that brought all those dustpans out-,-)
ugh. and someone shoved snow right behind my neck!

and i read it for like an hour again and again.

argh, i'm sorry for not updating for so long.
i'm so tired now-,- having a muscle cramp in my right arm.
oh yeah and on sports day our class won the tug-o-war ;D i thought class3 was going to win because they were all so BIG.

we finished every class off with straight two wins!
hah, i never knew we were so strong.
we won class5,6,3 in a row.
and class8 cheered for us :D all of us are really close with class8, because we're the only isolated classes at the far end of the corridor.
(and when class3 won class8 unfairly in foot-baseball we swore at them too. -,- they played really dirty.)

i loved our class t-shirt ;-) it's so funny. and it wasn't as cold as i expected.
and our hamburgers came on time too.
well, all ends well.

just that we're having a cold war with class1234 infront -,-
but who cares? we don't get to see them much ANYWAYYYYY. ;)

hi guys.
came back from foot-baseball practice with my classsmates at seven.
foot-baseball is just kicking a bigger ball, for example volleyball with the same rules as baseball.
i feel so tired.
sigh.
tomorrow we're having our match with class8 and they're really good.
today was our third practice; we're having 100% attendance!
after hours of experience, we realised that we were able to practice better in later hours.
(today we met @ 2, and .... ugh.)
i bought icecream for everyone! hahah.

today things went strangely wrong.
first, i went to school at 1.30pm to hide the bases that we were going to use.
you know, the baseball base.
it's portable, and it's essential for the practice.
i went there early MYSELF just to find that class2 guys were using it already-,-
and they were already using half of the school quadrangle.
because someone told us that class8 was also coming to practice, we figured out that the class that practises first on the other half of the quadrangle would be able to stay there.
there's no other fit place to practice.

so we practised there while class8 had to climb over the fence to the primary school right next to our school.
it wasn't locked but it was kinda small.
oh well, too bad for them.
anyway at about 4.30pm when it started to get cold some students from the neighbouring school came to our school.
they also had to practise, and because some people had friends among them, we played a game with them.

and lost.

what a tragedy-,-
really, we aren't that rotten or anything.
but others are just too good to be true.

hi all.
currently feeling really full :D
i'm still in my aunt's house, but later in the afternoon we're going to our grandmother's place.
i love my aunt's place because we can do stuff that are usually BANNED in our house.
for example.
we can finish 5 biscuits in a row (and very expensive ones too) and even get asked if we would like to eat somemore.

we can play kartrider for 3 hours straight & nobody cares because everyone's busy making food :D
well the time limit is great, but the fact that the computer is fast is even better.

we can watch TV for as long as we want. and there's cable channel there! haha lol. we usually spend our time watching conan.

we can drink soft drinks anytime(: even as we eat lunch. (and there's usually more than 3 types of soda.)

these are the advantages of going to my aunt's house, even if i feel like slacking at home. (and the $$$ counts too! :D) but i love my aunt. really.

on thursday, that is, the day before yesterday jiwon&i went to watch 'FAME' in lotte cinema.
it was a 10.40am movie so we met @ 10am to buy popcorn from a supermarket and took a bus there.
the popcorn there is so damn expensive for no reason :X lols.
anyway, the movie was really nice and touching, and our seat (far left and the fifth row from the front-,-) was better than we expected.
&the guy actor looked like robert pattinson! HAHAH.
makes me wanna go to that kind of school you know. though it's impossible unless i possess some unknown musical ability.
well after the movie heejung joined us, and we walked around nowon station because there are lots of stores there selling really nice stuff at a cheap price.

& that reminds me, i have to get heejung a birthday present.

in the end jiwon bought a bag and i bought some hairpins (i like ribbons.), we bought a big bowl of fruit ice from a cafe and shared it.
heejung was strangely lively that day, and jiwon and i felt like sleeping.
and i barely managed to decline to her "suggestion" to go ice-skating. :D i was feeling so tired. (i guess now i know what aging feels like.)

later in the night, i almost died because my legs were throbbing so badly. ugh. -,- shouldn't have walked around so much.

YESTERDAY was a special day, because i got the signature of a very famous comedian. :D

my uncle is a newbie in the golf world. he's really addicted, &he and my dad always practise together whenever we go to our aunt's house.
so yesterday they went for a practise as usual, while i stayed at home w/ my cousins.
and my dad suddenly called, saying that the guy above was playing golf right behind him!
HAHHA LOL.
(later he told me that it felt weird to think that he was playing golf right infront of a celebrity.)
he said he would get 5 signatures for us.
acutally we doubted him, because he wasn't the type to do that kind of stuff. ;)
but he really did bring 5 signatures!
haha.
i've never seen my dad so excited.
he and my uncle said they even talked to him.
anyway, i have the signature! LOL. (we joked about selling it off.)

hello guys. i apologise for not posting for the few days, because i had so much homework.
SIGH.
and only 17DAYS left for CA2 examssssssssss zomg.
i haven't even finished a single subject.
only maths, because i've been having truckloads of homework from my tuition.
so i can announce to the whole entire world that i'm absolutely unprepared for any kind of tests or whatever.
miss my holidays): i wonder WHY i've been looking forward to school during june. LOLS :D
nowadays i'm so sleepy.
so i sleep during classes, and i've already made a note about which class i can sleep peacefully in.
for example, physics. the teacher doesn't mind. (maybe because she KNOWS that her lessons are boring? -,-)
definitely not english. it'll be my dying day.
maths sometimes, but it's an important subject so i simply can't bear to sleep in that class.

i was so enchanted with photoshop that i forgot to memorize my TEPS spelling, but unbelievably i got 100, HAHAH.
anyway, today was nothing special.
lessons were hilarious :-) i really love my current sitting position.
there's a slight boulder infront of jae eun's table and we're using it as our noteboard.
we have all sorts of stuff like for example a TV, our weekly schedule and our favourite quotes and weird stuffs that we drew on the wall.
the TV is really useful (it's just an MP3 hanging on the wall) :D
hahahs.
&guess what, me and YJ had an agreement not to call each other stupid names.
that's a change :D
he's so annoying, but he has lots of attention from girls just because he's cute -,- well, he's kind anyway.
&tomorrow i'll have to work on our class timetable): ugh. i've been trying to delay it but oh well, i think i'll be done with it quickly.

hi guys.

on saturday i wasn't able to go for my basketball practice because we had to go to my aunt's house):

and today i shot 5 goals. same as last friday, but stil, argh.

so i'm already having a -5 handicap even before our written exam.

that's so stupid of me/.

today was well-balanced in the good-and-bad part, because i didn't bring my art stuff and so me, jae eun, kwonmin and heejung went out at lunch to get it.

well not exactly ONLY to get it.

we went home, got our art material and went off to mcdonalds :D hahah.

and we had a lovely lunch while others were at school eating school lunch. (today's school lunch was terrible; i saw the menu. -,-)

then after that, we went to a convenience store to buy chocolate milk and coffee milk and instant noodle risking being late for our other friends :) we're really kind.

but we were indeed late.

so we had to take a taxi (though it doesn't take more than 10minutes if we walk) to school and a teacher ALMOST saw us.

imagine what the teacher would have thought if she had seen four girls holding french fries and instant noodles riding a taxi into school grounds.

so it ended nicely, except for the fact that we were SLIGHTLY late for art.

unfortunately our art teacher picked todayyyyyyyyy to discipline us.

sigh.

because we get hit as many times as the number of people infront of us, we were like pushing and shouting and all that rushing up the stairs.

i lined up 6th :X still considered lucky, because there was 24 people behind me. lols!

yayme.

anyway, yesterday i watched this programme which topic was "the end of the world".

&they said the world would perish in 2012 :X
wow.

that's just 3 years from now and we won't even be able to enjoy university life!
really freaky huh.

well, wish it isn't true. who wouldn't? -,-

PS. SEOJUNG IS COMING UP TO SEOUL AFTER HER EXAMS! hahaha. we're having exams on the exactly same date :D

just came back from school & now i'm damn tired.
i need to make our class's new timetable but i'm so lazy!
stupid form teacher.
why can't he just make it himself? -,-
he's weird. he simply ENJOYS abusing his authority as a teacher.
anyway, i'll be going back to school @ 9.30pm for a basketball practice session w/ heejung and jiwon. :)
we're having a scoring test next monday.
sigh.
we're supposed to like, shoot 10goals in 30seconds.
& THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. because that would mean 3seconds for each shot, and if you count the time that it takes for us to pick the ball up again, we have less than 1sec to aim and shoot-,-
of course, that would be it if we don't factor in the mistakes part.
ugh. ugh. ugh.
ytd the both of them went without me and they practised with 2-8 boys. :)
2-8 boys are nice. they're well-mannered. HAHAHA
anyway hope they come out today too.
the whole of 2-8class came out yesterday to practise :X what a great class.
our form teacher shld really know how much effort we put into our PE exams. (he has this dumb habit of criticising us that we don't put in the same effort into PE compared to main subjects like korean and math.)
&to imagine that we're having a soccer exam for SA2-,-
that sucks.
we'll all have LOTS of muscles. just imagine! argh.

oh yeah, i forgot.
yesterday just infront of our apartment and school (they're on the opp side of the road. isn't it convenient? :X) there was a great big accident.
i was watching a music programme at about, 7.30pm when haemin called me on my phone.
she was like practically screaming and babbling on about some accident that she saw.
"omg, i've just watched an accident! there was this sec3 girl from a nearby school and a car, and she was hit, and she died, &the driver died too, and the passenger riding behind (the driver's daughter) was seriously hurt!"
i said, "shut up and cut the crap-,- don't lie, okay. it's so stupid and lame."
okay like, she isn't really the reliable type.
i've been tricked by her for like ten thousand times -,-
so i didn't believe her.
then @ about, 9? i went out to our apartment supermarket to buy icecream.
and the shopkeeper and a customer was talking about some serious stuff & the customer was exclaiming, "what a tragedy! i'll never let my kid go home alone at night again."
it somehow matched the story that haemin told me, so i asked the shopkeeper if the accident did really happen.
he said "OF COURSE! it was so noisy out there... poor girl."
so it was real after all! -,-
i couldn't bear to go and see what happened, so i just went home.
okay i know it's a little confusing.
but anyway, the passenger in the car was a sec1 girl from our school.
just imagine, her dad died in an accident killing another girl and she was the only survivor of the accident.
so frightening.
anyway, EVERYONE in our class knew about the accident today. (this type of stuff spreads really quick.)
i can't spot anyone missing though.
but of course, i don't know every single sec1 in our school.
hope she's fine...

hi all.
i've totally lost all faith in my korean teacher-,-
she told me to write a summary during the holidays, & i did it, even though i didn't have enough time to do other stuff.
AND THEN today she tells me that i'll have to make a speech about it next wednesday!
wth is that?
i thought it was = summary done, end of story, but apparently she's been holding out on us.
ugh. i can't speak infront of crowds. i get stuck or stutter so much that it's pathetic. -,-

helloooooooo peeps, i'm over my childish fit of despair.

they said my hair is cute, but i simply can't see why-,- hahah.

it still sucks, & i'll need to grow it again.

today was the start of school, and it's absolutely great to see everyone again!

no more worrying about holiday homework. ;) heehees.

had lessons all the same, but had 10minutes cut off for each one.

guess what, i got a 10000won voucher from school! that's about...13dollars? (i'm not sure, i suck at maths. ;))

&i'm going to use every bit to buy the album which is coming in 2 more weeks' time.

also got a certificate for good results on art and chinese, but i never had the feeling that i was getting great art marks :X

maybe they just picked anyone and distributed certificates.

so, i'm the lucky one? haha ;)

i'll need to post as fast as i can.it's 1 oh ten and i'm still far from sleep. -,- but guess what, i finished my music newsletter!

HALLELUJAH ;-) omg, it took far less than i expected.

today was a really, really, really long day because my father woke me @8 to go out.

so our whole family went on a drive at NINE in the morning, went to yangpyeong (that's outside seoul and i thought i was going to die because of the traffic jam.), ate there, went sight-seeing a little bit, ate dinner and then came home.

&currently feeling full, because dinner was really great ;)

now i'm the only one awake (with the computer) finishing up undone homework.

maybe i'll ask mom to buy it for me as my birthday present.

i don't even know where mom and my sibs went, but they probably went to the library or something.
